In women\u2019s Series A and men\u2019s Series B, we find the Empoli USE Basket<\/a> (USE Rosa Scotti e USE Computer Gross). Basketball has gained a real foothold in Empoli in recent years, encouraging hundreds of young people and children to play this sport. Basketball matches are played at PalaSammontana (Via R. If you arrive a few hours before your favourite team\u2019s match, or you want to stay for a while after the match, the centre of Empoli is a short distance from all the sports facilities<\/strong>. We suggest that you leave your car and walk for about a kilometre until you reach the city centre. There are often lively events and markets of all different types. Here, between Piazza Farinata degli Uberti and Piazza della Vittoria, you\u2019ll find many bars, restaurants and taverns<\/strong> where you can taste the typical cuisine and excellent local wines.
